Article summary
ChatGPT in Viber processes selected content when a user invokes a feature; it does not turn conversations into number-checking data or reveal list registration status.
ChatGPT inside Viber and Viber number checking remain two entirely different forms of processing. The former is invoked by a user for questions, summaries, writing, translation or image work. The latter takes an authorized phone TXT and returns selected platform-state fields. AI does not gain an entire customer list, and number checking does not read conversations.
Features Viber announced
Viber’s July 2026 official introduction lists a dedicated ChatGPT chat, @ChatGPT, chat and link summaries, message polishing, translation and image remix, with availability tied to an updated app.
Each entry point receives different context
| Entry point | Processed content | Visibility |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT tab/chat | User-submitted prompt | Governed by that feature |
| @ChatGPT | Relevant recent context around the mention | Participants see the prompt and answer |
| Summary/translate/polish | Relevant content selected for the tool | Presented by the specific feature |
| Image remix | Selected image and prompt | Others see the result if shared |
On-demand does not mean no processing
Viber’s ChatGPT feature explainer says the tools are passive by default and operate when invoked, while relevant content is processed to fulfill the request. Users should still review regional notices, privacy settings and account-linking state before submitting sensitive customer content.
Number checking has different input and output
| Process | Input | Output |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT in Viber | User-selected prompt, text or image | AI answer or transformation |
| Viber Registration | Phone TXT | Phone and registration result |
| Other AIPUSH platform tasks | Relevant phone TXT | Selected task fields in Excel |
AIPUSH does not upload conversations
AIPUSH accepts one phone per line as TXT and exports Excel. Conversation text, group summary, AI prompt, picture, order and full CRM are not Viber number-checking inputs. A platform AI launch must not expand the product claim.
AI cannot reverse-check phone state
Summarizing a conversation does not prove that a phone remains registered on Viber. Polishing a message does not create contact permission. Translation does not verify identity. Platform state, message content and human intent require separate evidence.
Minimize customer-support AI input
Remove unnecessary names, phones, order IDs and sensitive information and submit only the fragment needed. A human reviews amounts, addresses, refunds, health and legal issues. High-risk actions must never execute from an AI answer alone.
What account linking changes
If a person links their own ChatGPT account, activity may be handled under that account’s settings and policies. The unlinked path does not mean “no processing”; follow the actual Viber and OpenAI notices for retention, safety review and regional differences.
Businesses need two audit trails
The AI-use log records feature, purpose, reviewer and sensitive-content status. The number-task log records TXT hash, task_name, batch_id and checked_at. Do not join them directly on phone without a specific, necessary and approved purpose.
How to maintain a news-driven article
Availability can change by version and region. Update only facts confirmed by Viber, avoid claiming simultaneous global access, and never use “ChatGPT launched” to imply that AIPUSH analyzes chats. A precise boundary makes both services more credible.
