Article summary
Review the selected RCS task, Excel display and source number before interpreting a missing result. Prepare a precise support request without guessing system values from blanks.
If an RCS System Check export looks incomplete, identify what is missing first. A missing column, a missing number row and a blank value in an existing row are different observations. A blank alone does not identify a system or establish RCS registration status.
Follow the symptom visible in the file
The file contains only phone and registered status
Check the task name. AppShai RCS Validity Check returns those two fields, not system and ID. Different fields are not necessarily lost results. Confirm whether a system task was actually submitted before buying or repeating another job. Compare the tasks on the RCS checking product page.
The columns exist but a number cannot be found
Search the unmodified original export and check for active filters or hidden data. Microsoft explains that filtering can hide rows[1]; this is a display issue worth ruling out, not proof that a backend omitted a number. Then compare the original TXT and export, including country codes, duplicates and digits lost through spreadsheet conversion.
The number is present but system or ID is blank
Preserve the row as returned. Without task instructions, do not replace blanks with Android, iOS, not registered or failed. A populated neighboring column does not establish the missing value. Obtain the current system vocabulary, ID definition and blank-value rules from the service instructions or support. Google’s official capability responses do not define AppShai’s Excel states[2].
Send a focused support request, not the entire customer database
Prepare the task name and reference, submission and export times, the particular missing row or column and a redacted example. Retain the original file privately. If an actual number is required, supply only the necessary information through the designated private support channel.
A useful request is specific: “This was an RCS System Check. The export contains phone, system and ID. One number is present but system is blank; the ID remains unchanged. Please explain this return.” That is easier to investigate than “the result is inaccurate.”
Keep disputed records separate until explained instead of overwriting source customer data or assigning them to a confirmed system category. Repeat only the checking scope that is actually needed, rather than submitting the full file again. See the RCS system-field explanation for the three-column boundary.
