Telegram Number Checking in education requires a stricter question than “Can we find these students on TG?” Schools, course providers and admissions teams hold records collected for specific purposes, often involving minors. Technical availability never expands that purpose by itself.
Classify the list before touching it
Enrollment, applicant, alumni, parent/guardian, event and purchased-marketing records are not interchangeable. Document the lawful purpose, expected channel, retention period and responsible team for each cohort. If the source cannot be explained, do not upload it.
Minors change the risk model
Age may be unknown or inferred incorrectly, so “we filtered adults later” is not a safe admission rule. Use authoritative enrollment or guardian records, apply the organization’s safeguarding policy, and avoid individual profiling for recruitment or discipline.

Use TXT as a minimized execution file

Do not convert platform activity into academic judgments
Telegram activity cannot measure attendance, diligence, risk of dropout or academic ability. A frozen observation, username or avatar is likewise not grounds for disciplinary action. High-impact education decisions must use validated institutional evidence and due process.
Handle shared family phones explicitly
A phone may belong to a parent, household or shared office. When returned identifiers conflict with the enrollment record, mark shared_or_conflict and ask through an established channel. Never overwrite a student’s contact or merge siblings automatically.
Separate service messages from promotion
A timetable change or requested application update has a different purpose from selling another course. Permission, notice and opt-out must match the message class. Suppression applies across campaigns so a refusal is not bypassed by another department.
Delete observations when the education purpose ends
Set checked_at, access roles and delete_after for all returned fields, especially avatars and inferred demographics. Graduation, withdrawal or campaign completion should trigger review. Keep only what a defined record-retention rule actually requires.
