Puerto Rico uses the +1 North American Numbering Plan, with 787 and 939 as its familiar area codes. A WhatsApp gender-and-age project must not classify every +1 record as mainland United States, and it must not present task-returned profile values as verified demographics.

Coverage comes before distribution
Report 787 and 939 sample sizes, age coverage, gender coverage, avatar return and collision rate separately. Different acquisition sources create selection bias; missing records must not quietly disappear from the denominator.
TXT carries phones only
AIPUSH accepts TXT only. Keep contact_id, phone_raw, area_code_evidence and permission internally. The upload contains one phone per line and no name, address, ethnicity or order information.
Excel belongs in a restricted observation domain
Add batch_id, checked_at and task_name after download and apply access controls. Profile-related fields should not be copied into every support interface; expose them only to personnel with an approved need.
Do not infer sensitive attributes from an avatar
The image may not depict the holder and may include several people. Skin tone, ethnicity, health, income and political views cannot be inferred from a picture or area code. Unknown stays unknown.
When a smaller task is better
If only WA/WS registration state is needed, use WS Registration. If only a picture result is required, choose WS Avatar. Gender and Age is justified only when its fields change a lawful, low-risk decision.
A qualified evidence chain for a +1 record
Raw phone, +1 normalization, 787/939 area code, provenance, task batch, field state and deletion date should form one traceable chain. A phone sourced from another US jurisdiction, another Caribbean territory or a record without reliable location evidence belongs in an exception queue; it should not be forced into Puerto Rico merely to complete the batch. A profile becomes more trustworthy through disclosed limits, not through filling every blank.
